Halloween Fest 2026

This years moving block party will be held on October 24th.

We always plan to host our Halloween Fest on the Friday and Saturday before Halloween, which land on Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th of October this year.

On Friday, we have a (kids and adults) pumpkin carving event at the Sracics' house at 6338 Masthead Dr. starting at 4:00 PM (we will have some pumpkins and some tools, but we'd love your pumpkin donations and bring your own carving kits if you have them.) Help us SET A NEIGHBORHOOD RECORD of FIFTY carved Jack 'O Lanterns this year!

The party is on Saturday at two locations:

• 4pm-7pm we'll kick off the main kids' and family event at The Reeds on 6325 Landfall Dr., with a kids' costume parade and adult costume contest/vote at ~5:30 pm (some food and drinks will be provided, but please bring a potluck style dish to share, costumes are welcome but not required.)

• 7pm, folks can make their way to the Weitkamp's house at 106 Nautilus Dr. where a more grown-up party will continue until ~10pm (we'll also have refreshments and entertainment for kids who can stay up later). The Jack 'O Lanterns will be formally lit ~7:30pm! 

Feel free to bring your refreshments to share—food or drink, party favors, and candy, if you wish, and party games are also welcome.

It would help us plan if folks who are planning to attend would RSVP, but it's not required.

We invite everyone to dress up!

If you want to participate in the costume contest, just show up in costume and opt in!

Don't want to join in a contest but still want to show off your amazing costume?  Join the costume parade!

Bring your carved jack-o-lantern to contribute to the Halloween Fest Pumpkin Pavilion!  This is your chance to show off your creativity   No experience needed.  All are welcome!

Please drop off your pumpkin the afternoon of the 23rd or morning of the 24th in the front lawn of the Sracic home (6338 Masthead Dr). We'll light and display your pumpkin along with all the other Faircrest Jack 'O Lanterns!  Pumpkins can be picked back up Sunday.
